Program

As part of DCCAP's commitment to our community, we help low-income individuals that require maintenance medication, apply to the drug manufacturers for free medication.

The process is simple. First schedule an appointment with any of our Branch Offices and provide a list of all medication you currently take with dosage, proof of income and your Doctors name and address.

After all the information is gathered, and the required forms are complete, DCCAP submits all your information to the appropriate drug manufacturer for approval. Each manufacturer has their own criteria for approval. Upon approval the medication will be sent to your Doctors office. It can take 4 to 6 weeks for a decision.
