Dress for Success Worldwide Receives $2.5 million Grant from the Walmart Foundation to empower more women in their search for employment nationwide.

The $2.5 million grant received will provide over 5,000 disadvantaged women from more than 30 states, including those served by Dress for Success Dutchess County, with pre-employment training that will help them obtain jobs and advance in their careers.

The Going Places Network (GPN) Program is a specialized program designed for unemployed and underemployed women who are job ready and are actively seeking employment.

Participants gain professional skills, accelerate their job search and build confidence through weekly training sessions, on-on-one career coaching and networking in a supportive environment.

Every session is highly interactive and hosted by subject matter experts who provide and comprehensive insight into overcoming barriers that may be impeding the participants from becoming gainfully employed.

Sessions are filled with content that will take participants one step closer to attaining their goal of obtaining sustainable employment.
