Open Position:  Family Resource Coordinator

Classification:    Non-Exempt/Hourly

Supervisor:    Family Resource Program Director

Location:    Beacon, New York (2 Days), Poughkeepsie, New York (3 Days)

In order to be considered for this position a letter of introduction is required.

Requirements:

*Good documentation skills.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish a rapport.

*Ability to motivate others toward achieving goals.

*Ability to work independently with a strong sense of focus, task-oriented, non-judgmental, open personal qualities, and a clear sense of boundaries.

*A strong sense of respect for confidentiality involving both clients and fellow employees. 

*Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse families and communities with the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.

Job Summary/Requirements

*Provide case management services to all clients including: intake assessment, benefit assessment, goal setting, long-term case plan development, weekly case plan development, progress monitoring, individual money management, tenant education, advocacy, and referrals.

*Maintain a caseload of 15 families.

*Meet regularly with clients, weekly or bi-weekly for case management services.

*Connect families with needed and available agency and community resources.

*Follow-up with clients and agencies as appropriate document use/success of referral.

*Input accurate and complete data for all contacts with clients into the agency database.

*Ensure that all documents submitted on behalf of a client are valid.

*Contact landlords to validate eviction notices.

*Conduct outreach to neighborhoods

*Provide all required documentation in a timely manner, which may include client follow-up, outcome evaluation, client contact sheets, and evaluations.

*Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, supervisory sessions, and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive return relationships as requested.

Open Position:                  Bookkeeper/Account Clerk

Classification:                   Exempt/Salary – 35 hours per week

Supervisor:                       Chief Financial Officer

Location:                           Poughkeepsie, New York

Job Summary/Requirements

Experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing and non-profit office work, a plus.  Individual would contribute to a team effort and be able to multi-task.  Must have good data entry skills, attention to detail and strong experience with accounting software and Microsoft.

 

Job Summary:

* Position would be responsible for processing payroll in Paychex Flex and maintaining organization payroll data.

*Candidate must be thorough and take direction with ease.

*Candidate would be responsible for tracking/monitoring of some accounts as well as preparing reports for funders.

*Candidate would provide administrative support for CFO and other finance staff.

*Assist with purchasing, retention, and other department roles.

*Be open to any responsibilities as assigned.
