There are currently no plans to open a warming center
Town of Beekman
If the need arises, the Beekman Fire House, 316 Beekman-Poughquag Road, will be used as a warming center for town residents.

Dutchess County Community & Family Services (DCCFS)– Emergency Shelters/Warming Centers, The Living Room, located at 29 North Hamilton Street in Poughkeepsie
For individuals in need of overnight shelter, Hudson River Housing picks up individuals from the Living Room at 7 pm and brings them to the Webster House where they are provided with a meal and a warm place to sleep until they are brought back to Poughkeepsie at 7 am after receiving breakfast.
Note: DCFS does not use the Living Room nor the Webster House for families. Families should call the helpline at 845-485-9700 for further information.

Community Action Partnership for Dutchess County has fuel depots across the
county to provide emergency fuel and assistance with applying for HEAP
(Home Energy Assistance Program)

After 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, weekends and holidays, call the

Emergency Fuel Recipients are required to apply for HEAP assistance eligibility
within one week of receipt of fuel.
